Adome Lorika Foundation Delivers Hope During Times of Hardship
In response to increasing food insecurity caused by prolonged drought, rising living costs, and economic challenges affecting vulnerable households across Moroto Municipality, Adome Lorika Foundation, under the leadership of Hon. Francis Lorika Adome, intensified efforts to provide emergency food assistance to families most in need.
The initiative was implemented in collaboration with local government leaders, community structures, and humanitarian stakeholders to identify and reach households facing severe food shortages. Priority was given to widows, elderly persons, persons with disabilities, child-headed households, and families struggling to meet their daily nutritional needs.
For many beneficiaries, the support arrived at a critical moment when food reserves had been depleted and household incomes were insufficient to provide regular meals.
Restoring Dignity and Hope
The food assistance program provided essential food supplies to vulnerable families, helping them cope with difficult conditions while reducing the immediate threat of hunger.
